Estate planning, in conversation

Your estate plan.
A conversation away.

Create and manage your Will or Trust with Trust & Will in Muse. Answer questions, review your choices and pick up where you left off.

You make the decisions. Muse guides the conversation and uses your authorized Trust & Will connection to work with your plan.

Getting started

Connect your account

  1. Start in Muse

Ask Muse to connect to Trust & Will using this prompt:

I’d like to create an estate plan: https://estate.mcp.trustandwill.com/mcp
  2. Sign in through your browser

Use the connection action Muse provides. In your local browser, create a Trust & Will account or sign in to the account you want to use.

  3. Review and authorize access

Review the access requested on the authorization page, then approve the connection if you want to continue.

  4. Return to the conversation

Tell Muse you have connected and follow the estate planning questions. If you are unsure about a question, ask for an explanation before answering.

Enter your password only on the sign-in page. You should not need to create a developer application, enter a client ID or paste authorization codes, tokens or callback URLs into chat.

Things to ask

Use your own words, or copy one of these examples.

Checkout and your documents

  1. Purchase on the Trust & Will website

When your conversation reaches checkout, open the provided link in the same local browser and browser profile you used to connect. Check that the website shows the account you intend to use before paying.

  2. Come back to Muse

After completing checkout, say: “I’ve completed checkout. Please continue my estate plan.” Follow the remaining questions and reviews.

  3. Create, download and sign

Ask Muse to help you create and download your documents when your plan is ready. Follow the applicable signing and execution instructions outside Muse.

Completing a conversation or downloading documents does not complete the required signing and execution steps.

Your choices and account access

You do not need an existing account to begin connecting. Create one or sign in during setup so your plan and progress are associated with your Trust & Will account.

The connector may retrieve information from or initiate an update to an existing plan only after the user explicitly authorizes access and completes secure authentication. Suggested changes are not saved until the user confirms them. Available to customers in all 50 states.

Review proposed changes carefully and tell Muse if anything is incorrect. Payment takes place on the Trust & Will website.

Help with your connection

Muse asks me for a client ID.

That is not part of the intended customer setup. Ask Muse to use its native MCP connection flow with automatic client registration for the endpoint below. If that fails, keep the error message and contact support; do not create your own OAuth application to work around it.

I see a localhost callback error or a request to paste a code.

Do not paste the callback URL or authorization code into chat. Ask Muse to restart authentication through its native connector so the connector receives the callback itself.

Checkout shows the wrong account.

Pause before purchasing. Verify the account in your browser and the account connected in Muse. Use the same browser profile as your connection flow and sign in to the intended account. If they still differ, contact support before proceeding.

Muse says my connection expired.

Use Muse’s reconnect action and complete sign-in in your browser. Then ask Muse to check your saved progress before continuing, particularly if a change was interrupted.

I paid, but Muse still shows checkout.

Return to Muse and tell it you completed checkout so it can check purchase status. If the issue persists, contact support with your confirmation. Do not repeat the purchase simply to refresh the conversation.

What should I include when asking for help?

Include what you were trying to do, the time and time zone, and the visible error text. Omit passwords, tokens, full callback URLs, payment details and personal estate information.

Connection details

For people configuring a compatible MCP client. Customers using Muse can start with the instructions above.

https://estate.mcp.trustandwill.com/mcp

The MCP endpoint connects your agent to Trust & Will. It is not a webpage to visit for estate planning or a Partner API documentation URL.

For connector implementers

Use the server’s protected-resource discovery and the issuer’s OAuth authorization-server metadata. An OpenID Connect discovery document alone may omit the registration endpoint. Use native OAuth with the advertised client-registration support, and let the connector handle the callback and credentials. Do not ask customers to transfer authorization codes through chat.
